The main author and coder, is Hans De Weme. He’s an architect with a passion for technology and the author of many, mainly data-driven systems.
Originally trained as an academic researcher in the history and philosophy of science, he also graduated in computer science. This became the basis for a professional career as an information and enterprise architect. Mainly in pension and asset management, the Dutch payroll tax chain and public employment services. In the latter role among other things adding intelligence to matching algorithms with the skills ontology CompetentNL.
Today, I am primarily interested in designing applications for Technical Analysis, data science, machine learning, and other forms of applied intelligence. These include predictive models for financial assets, trading bots for automatically generating buy/sell signals, and applications for real-time dynamic pricing. Most of his life he has been programming in C and C++. Today, however he prefers working with Python and R.
